Fast Informatiker?

"Du bist fast Informatiker."

An intern said to me after coffee break this afternoon. After almost 4 years of studies, am I really competent and ready to be a real software engineer?

Just hope I would not have this kind of bad feeling when someone mentions that to me again. So, win back the lost time!

Snowy Morning

30.10.2008.

Woke up this morning to find out I was surrounded by everything in white. Everything was covered with snow. I think this is the earliest snow I have seen since I came to Germany.

About 3 years ago, I remember, the first drops of snow was on 18.11.2005. =)

But, I hate to go out everyday now.

Inanity

Learned a new word today, inanity, in an article in which a long-time loyal republican was quoted criticizing Sarah Palin for her run as vice president of the America.

Inanity means lack of sense.

Now there's a new word to describe malaysian politicians...hehe =P

Kicker

Talent is a gift. Not everyone in this world has such a gift.

So as an ordinary person, I always tell myself, "Because I have no talent, I have to work even harder. Perseverance is a gift, too."

ps: Got this thought after thrashed by colleagues in Kicker games =)

Guitaring Age

Dillon was playing guitar in tcy's room after our steamboat. Ye and Melanie (tcy's housemates) came in and asked him to perform a song =) I was sitting on the bed (unbelievably tcy was still sleeping soundly before this) while watching him playing Matchbox 20's Push.

I was thinking, we are actually having the luxury of playing guitar and singing songs at this age, if compared to our friends back home. Lucky?

Fainting Goat

This evening after dillon, cy and I on the way back (from buying food for steamboat ^_^) to our hostel, we walked through a slope, which I always overlooked before this. But today was different, because at least hundred of cute sheeps were grazing grass there. So we just went down to approach the herd of sheeps. They were surrounded by fence. After taking some videos and photos, out of a sudden we heard shouts from tcy.

We turned to him only to realize that stupid tcy got contact with the electric fence as he leaned towards it. Sheeps around him moved away instantly with sarcastic bleats...hoho :P

It is a nice scenery. Green grass, towering slope, jogging path and sunset as background. Just wondering how it will look in winter. Though I am not really looking forward to this chill greeting...

ps: Dillon talked about the fainting goat when we were at the slope. They are sooooooo cute! =)

My First Post...

Finally I think it's time for me to start a real blog. Today is a special day, 20.08.2008, as reminded by an important person of mine. Therefore a poor guy who's still sitting in the office at 7.30pm would like to do something different, something to be remembered, by starting this personal blog...

Thoughts are elusive, so if you don't try to catch and write them down, you most probably won't see them again...
